The beginning
I trained as a dentist before I ever saw California.
I started my career in St. Petersburg, Russia, where I trained and worked as a general dentist. When I moved to the United States in 2007, I did something a lot of people thought was a little crazy. I went back to dental school. I earned my second dental degree through the International Dentist Program at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, graduating in 2012 with the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor for academic excellence.
I grew up around healthcare. My family worked in medicine, so the instinct to take care of people was set early, long before I picked up a handpiece. What I didn't expect was how much I'd fall for the artistic side of this work.
The first time I watched a quiet, self-conscious patient see her finished smile and actually light up, something clicked. That feeling is still the reason I do this.

A beautiful smile isn't an accident, and it isn't a rush job.
I plan cosmetic cases carefully, I lean toward minimally invasive techniques that protect your natural teeth, and I'd rather take the extra appointment to get something right than hand you a result you'll second-guess in the mirror. Contemporary materials, conservative preparation, and a lot of attention to the small details that make a smile look like it was always yours.
I also won't talk you into work you don't need. If you come to me for veneers and what you actually need is something simpler, I'll tell you. That honesty is the whole point of a practice built around my own name.

I'm an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), and I'm currently working toward my AACD Accreditation, documenting cases for examination. It's a demanding credential, and earning it matters to me because the patients who trust me with their smiles deserve a dentist who holds herself to that standard.

I'm a mom, so I understand busy, real-life families better than most. Outside the office, you'll usually find me chasing one of my kids, traveling somewhere new, or in a hot yoga or bootcamp class.
I also have a creative streak that probably explains my love of cosmetic work. I act in local theater, design costumes, and shoot photography on the side. I think the eye you build doing those things is the same eye that designs a natural-looking smile.

Our office sits on East First Street in Tustin, and we've been part of this community for years. Patients come to us from across Tustin, Santa Ana, Irvine, Orange, and the wider Orange County area, and many of them have been with me long enough that I've watched their kids grow up.
